Griffin springing left / Kantharos within linear square; AP-TE-MΩN and ivy leaf around; all within shallow incuse square. May, Abdera, Period IV, Group LXIX, 187 var. (unlisted dies); HGC 3, 1140; Hunterian 5. Underlying luster. Near EF. Well centered on a broad flan. Very rare, only one noted by May, two in CoinArchives.
