Phalanthos, nude, arms extended and holding wreath with both hands, riding dolphin right; retrograde TAPAΣ to upper left, shell below / Hippocamp right; crab below. Fischer-Bossert Group 7, 117a (V62/R79) = Vlasto 131 = Vlasto, Taras 15 (this coin); HN Italy 827; SNG ANS 839; SNG Ashmolean 209 = SNG Lockett 126; SNG Copenhagen 777; SNG Lloyd 119 = Bement 70; McClean 537 = Warren 19 (all from the same dies). Attractive old collection tone with a hint of iridescence, slightly off center, a touch of roughness. Good VF. Fine style.
