Crowned bust right (Laker D) / Crowned coat-of-arms over long cross fourchée; tasseled gallero at base of cross. Whitton (i) (a); North 1799; SCBC 2340. Brushed, edge crack, slightly double struck, area of flat strike. Near VF. Very rare variety omitting the initials of Archbishop Wolsey from the reverse.
