Richard, holding sword and shield, standing facing in ship; ornaments -1-1-, ropes 3/1, quatrefoils 4/4 / Voided short cross potent over cross fleurée; in each angle, crown over lion passant over trefoil; at center, R within quadrilobe; all within polylobe, with trefoils in spandrels. Cf. Schneider 158-162 (for type); North 1303; SCBC 1656. Clipped down to circulate at the 1412 light coinage weight. Toned. VF.
