Draped bust right, wearing hair bound in pearls on top of her head / Hexastyle Temple of Diva Faustina on five steps; in center above, facing quadriga; on corners, sculptures. RIC III 406B (Pius); Beckmann dies daf25/T– [unlisted rev. die]; Calicó 1741 (same dies as illustration); BMCRE p. 51, ǁa; Adda –; Biaggi –; Jameson –; Mazzini –. Minor marks. VF. Very rare. None in Coin Archives and the reverse die not represented in Beckmann’s exhaustive study.
