L. Torquatus. 58 BC. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.98 g, 6h). Rome mint. Wreathed head of Sibyl right / Tripod surmounted by an amphora between two stars; all within torque. Crawford 411/1b; Sydenham 836; Manlia 12a; RBW 1490. Deeply toned with traces of iridescence and lustrous, off center on reverse. Good VF.
