Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Sol standing left, chlamys across left shoulder, right hand raised, holding globe in left hand; S/*|P//PL:N. RIC VII 123 var. (mintmark); C&T 8.10.012 (2). Green patina, slight roughness, scratches, edge chips. VF. Extremely rare.

From Lee Toone: “The rare variant of this type with the colon in the exergual mark. This coin is struck from the same dies as the LMCC plate coin 8.10.012 (2). A very difficult type to find.”
