PLOTINA • AVG IMP • TRAIANI, draped bust right, wearing hair bunched high in front and held in position by a double stephane, hair elaborately waved at back and falls down in a queue / CAES ΛVG GERMA DAC COS VI P P, Vesta seated left on chair without back, holding palladium and scepter. RIC II 730 (Trajan); Woytek 705-1; RSC 3. Toned, numerous scratches on obverse. VF. The Reka Devnia Hoard contained only four denarii of Plotina, all of this type, compared to 5205 of her husband Trajan. |
