Diademed and draped bust right / Eagle standing left on thunderbolt; TP monogram (mintmark) surmounted by palm frond; NI between legs. Svoronos 1296; Olivier 2851–2 var. (D24/R– [unlisted rev. die]); Mørkholm, Portrait, pl. 24, 19; SNG Copenhagen Suppl. 1299. Lightly toned, rough and smoothed surfaces. Fine. Extremely rare Tripolis issue, only four examples noted by Olivier, with two additional in CoinArchives.
