ANGLO-GALLIC. Edward III. 1327-1377. AR Esterlin – Sterling (18.5mm, 1.43 g, 9h). Bordeaux(?) mint. Struck circa 1335-1337 or 1344. Crowned bust facing slightly left; below, leopard to left / Long cross pattée terminating in quatrefoils; crowns in quarters. AGC 56, 5/b; Elias 56; SCBC 8047. Most attractively toned. Near VF.
