POTTERY. Greek Southern Italian Colonies. c. 4th-3rd Cent. BCE. (48 mm tall x 95 mm wide). A skyphos with flat foot, a wide cup-like form that tapers at the foot significantly and two handles that extend from both sides of the vessel. The cup is painted with an ivy pattern, separated by v-chevrons to one side, S shaped running v-chevrons to the other, all above. The designs are separated by a single line. The cup is rebuilt from several fragments and restored. Some minor paint touch up. Website shipping rates do not apply.
