Diva Faustina Junior. Died AD 175/6. Æ Sestertius (34mm, 27.14 g, 12h). Consecration issue. Rome mint. Struck under Marcus Aurelius and Commodus, AD 176 and later. Draped bust right / Diva Faustina Junior, with veil floating in semicircle behind head, holding scepter, seated left on back of peacock flying upward to right. RIC III 1702 (Aurelius); MIR 18, 56-6/10; Banti 38. Brown surfaces, some hard green deposits, a few flaws and scratches, triple strike on reverse. Near VF.
