ROMAN. Provincial. Lot of four (4) River-god themed provincial coins, Moesia and Thrace. Includes:

1) MOESIA INFERIOR, Tomis. Philip II. As Caesar, AD 244-247. Æ Tetrassarion (26mm, 13.57 g, 1h). Bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust of Philip right vis-à-vis draped bust of Serapis left, wearing calathus / Tyche standing facing, holding scepter and cornucopia; to lower right, half-length figure of Pontus Euxinus, personification of the Black Sea facing, head upturned left, wearing crown of crab claws. RPC VIII Online 28158; AMNG 3613; Varbanov 5820. Brown patina, earthen deposits. Near VF.

2) THRACE, Serdica. Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. Æ Pentassarion (31mm, 12.55 g, 12h). C. Caecina Largus, legatus Augusti pro praetore Thraciae. Struck AD 198-201. Laureate bust right, slight drapery on left shoulder / River-god Oiskos reclining left, head right, holding reed and resting elbow on urn from which water flows. H&J, Serdica 12.14.32.4 var. (bust, rev. legends); Ruzicka 38 var. (same); Varbanov 1962 var. (rev. legend). Green-brown patina, light roughness. Near VF. Very rare.

3) THRACE, Topirus. Marcus Aurelius. As Caesar, AD 139-161. Æ Diassarion (21mm, 4.44 g, 6h). Struck circa AD 144-161. Bare head right / River-god Nestos reclining left, holding cornucopia and reed, resting elbow on urn from which water flows. RPC IV.1 Online 5011; Varbanov 2672. Green and red patina, roughness. Good Fine. Very rare.

4) THRACE, Topirus. Marcus Aurelius. As Caesar, AD 139-161. Æ Diassarion (18mm, 3.83 g, 6h). Struck circa AD 144-161. Bare head right / River-god Nestos reclining left, holding cornucopia and reed, resting elbow on urn from which water flows. RPC IV.1 Online 5011; Varbanov 2672. Brown patina, light roughness. Near VF. Very rare. For Lot: Fine-Near VF. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS. Four (4) coins in lot.
