Radiate and cuirassed bust right; •••• below / PANNONIAE, Pannonia, veiled, standing front, head right, holding helmet and signum. RIC IV –; RSC –; (cf. RIC IV 158 Herennius Etruscus for same reverse type). Toned, porous surfaces, some green deposits. Near VF. Unpublished in the standard references, but known for 2nd and 3rd officinas for Antioch from auction records. This example from the 4th officina is apparently presently unique. |
