Isaac II Angelus. First reign, 1185-1195. AV Hyperpyron (26mm, 4.31 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. The Theotokos enthroned facing, holding head of the Holy Infant on lap / Isaac, wearing crown and loros, holding cruciform scepter and being crowned by manus Dei, and the Archangel Michael standing facing, holding sword in sheath between them. DOC 1d; SB 2001. Some luster, minor area of weakness on obverse, marks on reverse at periphery, a couple of minor edge splits. Good VF.
