Diademed head right, wearing aegis around neck / Eagle standing left on thunderbolt; to left, Ω above monogram. CPE p. 454, 142A. For prototype: cf. CPE 142a; cf. Svoronos 265; cf. SNG Copenhagen 73. Faintly toned, compact flan. Good VF. Distinctive facial expression.

This issue appears to be stylistically linked to a series of imitative issues of Ptolemy II recently studied by C. Lorber. Specifically, the obverse of this coin is very similar in style to Lorber, Mint, emission 1 tetradrachms (= CPE Ptolemy II mint 23).
