LYDIA, Philadelphia. 2nd-1st centuries BC. Æ (19.5mm, 7.78 g, 12h). Hermippos, son of Hermogenes, archieros. Draped bust of Artemis right, bow and quiver over shoulder / Apollo seated left on high-backed throne upon which rests an owl, holding phiale and resting elbow on kithara to right. Hochard 1377; Kurth 40; SNG Copenhagen 337–8. Dark green-brown patina. Good VF.
