L IZ (date, with Z retrograde) within wreath / Lituus. Meshorer 333b; Hendin 6371a; RPC I 4968; Sofaer 49. Earthen brown patina. VF. Only years 17 and 18 are confirmed for this type but Hendin notes that the retrograde Z could be a crude Ϛ, indicating RY 16 (29/30 CE). The retrograde Z is one of the more common mint errors in this series.
