Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / River-god Smardos reclining left, holding reed and resting elbow on urn from which water flows; to right, bird standing left. RPC VII.1 586; BMC 307. Brown patina, roughness. Near VF.

It would appear as if this was a common type judging by the number of specimens known to RPC, 42, but every one of them is in a museum collection. Only one is found in CoinArchives.
