Crowned facing busts of Leo IV and Constantine VI, each wearing chlamys; cross above, • between; Θ at end of legend / Crowned facing busts of Leo III and Constantine V, each wearing loros; cross above, • between. DOC 1b var. (obv. legend); Füeg 2 var. (same); SB 1583 var. (same). Some luster. Good VF. A fascinating previously unknown legend variety with the abbreviated title basileos appearing at the end of the obverse legend.
