Diademed head of Ptolemy I right, wearing aegis / Eagle standing left on thunderbolt; LMΔ (date) to left, KI to right. Svoronos 1604; Olivier 1534–45 (obv. die D287); SNG Copenhagen –; DCA 53. Toned, rough surfaces, traces of find patina, scrapes and scratches, die breaks on reverse. Near VF.

The die breaks and roughness on the reverse make the ones digit appear to be a B, rather than a Δ, but the identification of the die in Olivier’s die study clarifies the correct reading.
