SELEUKID EMPIRE. Antiochos Hierax. Circa 242-227 BC. AR Tetradrachm (30mm, 16.56 g, 1h). Lysimacheia mint. Diademed head of Antiochos I right / Apollo, testing arrow and resting hand on grounded bow, seated left on omphalos; to inner left, ligate MB above monogram. SC 857; HGC 9, 399d; CSE 675 (same dies). Some roughness and horn silver. Good VF. Extremely rare, two in CoinArchives, the CSE coin referenced in SC, one in SCO (in the BN).
