Helmeted head of Athena Parthenos right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates’ names in fields; to right, elephant standing right; E on amphora, ME below; all within wreath. Thompson 397k (same dies); HGC 4, 1635; SNG Copenhagen 212 (same dies [cast of genuine example]). Lightly toned, a hint of porosity and a couple tiny die breaks on obverse. EF. |
