ANGLO-SAXON, Secondary Sceattas. Circa 710-750. AR Sceatta (0.96 g, 9h). Series R, group 8. Mint in east Anglia. Radiate bust right; runic PA (ligate) to right, A-like ornament behind, annulets around / ‘Standard’ with degraded TOT II; crosses around. Metcalf 410; North -; SCBC 832. Good VF, dark iridescent tone.
