From the Belgica Collection, purchased from an old Belgian collection via Dominique Thirion Ars Antiqua, who exhibited the coin at Cultures – The World Arts Fair, 8–12 June 2016, Brussels (a scan of the relevant catalog pages will be included with this lot).

C. M. Kraay suggested that this coinage is an early issue at Akanthos (ACGC, pp. 133–4), but K. Liampi disagrees, suggesting they are Euboian standard hemistaters issued at Stageira (Liampi p. 237).
